I am a behavioral trainer, and Founder / Training Director of Partners Dog Training School. I have been a professional trainer for about 35 years, and have trained military working dogs, law enforcement, Search & Rescue and pets. I have also competed and titled dogs in French Ringsport, DockDogs, Agility, Obedience and Tracking.
My business, Partners, is one of the largest schools in the USA, with a staff of 25 full time instructors. We are based in Cave Creek (North Phoenix), on ten acres of training fields, an indoor training center and competition dock pool.
We offer snake avoidance, daycare, agility, swim lessons, behavior modification, group classes, resident camp and private lessons to about 3,000 clients a year.
We are a motivational school, basing most of our training on reward based principles.
We also provide rehab training to about a dozen dog rescues in the area.
I am a member of the Dog Writers Guild, blogging and producing articles on behavior and training.
I am a dog expert for NBC Channel 12 in Phoenix and write and produce weekly segments on dog related subjects.
I live on a ranch in North Phoenix, with my kids, girlfriend, seven dogs and one cat. Oh, and about two dozen Diamondback Rattlesnakes, which we use to train dogs.
